These melt-in-your-mouth slow cooker pork chops are made using all from scratch ingredients and come out perfect every time. No canned soups or seasoning packets needed.
Makes: 4-5 pork chops (you can double this if needed)
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 8 hours
Ingredients:
- 4-5 thick-cut pork chops
- 3 cups beef broth
- 2 T onion flakes
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
Optional for gravy:
- 3 T cornstarch
- 3 T water
Instructions:
- Place pork chops, broth, and seasonings into the slow cooker. Whisk to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours.
- Optionally, strain juice into a saucepan and heat over medium heat. Whisk together equal parts cornstarch and water until it forms a slurry. Then slowly whisk the slurry into the juices. Simmer for a few minutes until thickened. Serve over pork chops.
